Compass Team Elected to Leadership of Tennessee Auctioneer’s Association

Nashville, TN – Compass Auctions & Real Estate, LLC ( www . soldoncompass .com ) is pleased to announce that Justin Ochs and Steven Holt have been elected by the members of the Tennessee Auctioneer’s Association (TAA) to lead the association during the 2016 term.

Justin Ochs, Vice President of National Development for Compass has been elected to the office of President of the TAA following over 8 years of being actively involved with the association.

“I am honored to be elected by my fellow auctioneers to lead this great association,” commented Ochs. “We will work hard over the next year to provide programs that will raise the professionalism and education of TAA members causing them to become the trusted and chosen professional in the marketplace.”

Ochs is a past Tennessee Auctioneer Bid Calling Champion, has served as a Director for three years, Vice President for one year, and chaired both the Education Committee and Bid Calling Contest Committee for TAA.

Steven Holt, Vice President of Compass Auctions & Real Estate has been elected to the office of Vice President for the Tennessee Auctioneer’s Association after serving on the Board of Directors for three years.

“I am looking forward to serving the Tennessee Auctioneer’s Association Members over the next year,” stated Holt. “It is my hope that our efforts will result in increased membership, raise the level of professionalism in the auction industry, and educate the consumer public on why the auction method of accelerated marketing is their best option.”

Founded in 1958, the Tennessee Auctioneer’s Association promotes high professional standards and encourages members to practice the highest principles of integrity in their auctioneering profession. Members agree to work uniformly to remain competitive in the auctioneering profession.
