When you think of a concealed carry weapon, you might not think a Glock would be a suitable option. It’s not because Glocks are bad guns, they’re just too big!
The Glock 43X is every Glock lover’s dream. It provides the quality of the Glock brand in a size suitable for concealed carry.
Glock 43X History
It took a while for Glock to catch on to the fact that their fans wanted a compact gun like the Ruger LCPs or Smith & Wesson shields. Eventually, Glock got the message and decided to give the people what they were asking for. First, they released the Glock 42 in 380 ACP. The Glock 42 had mixed reviews and was soon upgraded to the Glock 43 in 9mm.
The Glock 43 is, has a decent capacity, and good shooting accuracy. However, it was in direct competition with the Sig P365. Gun enthusiasts preferred the P365 because it had a capacity of 12+1 while the G43 only held 6+1. Glock had to find a way to even the playing field, so in came the G43X. The Glock G43X is a crossover between the Glock 43 and the Glock 48. It’s a little bigger than the G43, but it is still small enough to carry comfortably.
Glock 43X Specs
The only difference between the Glock 43X and the Glock 43 is that the G43X has a wider and taller frame to increase the grip size and increase the capacity to 10+1. The chart shows the gun’s dimensions.
Glock 43X Rising Sun Bushido
The Rising Sun Bushido theme is inspired by Japanese Samurai culture. The gun has a dragon on the sides of the barrel and traditional Japanese waves engraved on the grip. A rising sun flag appears on the slide and there are two Oni masks on the grip. The Oni mask is a symbol used in Japanese culture to deter evil spirits and protect the owner from harm and bad luck.
